It’s that time of year again, the Oscar’s, and as usual our eyes are glued to what Hollywood’s A-List are wearing. And because we can’t wait one more day to see the glamourous red-carpet fashion, we are looking back on some of the very best Oscar’s looks of all time, from Joan Collins to Billy Porter… 

1958 – Joan Collins

Because no 50s ballgown is complete without elbow length gloves! Joan also gets extra points for designing, cutting an sewing her own dress!

1969 - Barbra Streisand in Arnold Scaasi

In the year she won best actress for Funny Girl, Barbra Streisand also earnt her place in the Best Oscar look hall of fame! 

1982 - Debbie Allen

Serving serious 80s-glamour in this beautiful lavender gown. 

1990 – Winona Ryder in Armani

Winona Ryder proving that sometimes simple and classic is best!  

1999 – Gwyneth Paltrow in Ralp Lauren

Gwyneth was pretty in pink for the 1999 Academy Award’s.

Whilst most opt for a floor-length gown for the Oscar’s, we admire Celine for opting for something different and absolutely rocking a backwards tuxedo and top hat.
