Let’s get one thing straight, you’re never too old for trick-or-treating! What could be better than leaving your house empty handed and returning with bundles of sweet treats (that only last about 5 minutes…)?

Visit A Pumpkin Patch

Probably the most Instagrammable and wholesome thing you can possibly do this Halloween season is visiting a pumpkin patch, for the photo ops obviously, but also to pick the best of the bunch for your spooky creations. It’s the perfect excuse to get wrapped up in oversized scarves and wellies and drink all of the fancy hot chocolates for some Autumnal vibes from October and beyond. There’s a full list of locations here.

Have A Movie Night

Even if scary movies aren’t your thing, a cosy night in is always a good idea. Invite your pals round, write a list of films to marathon and best of all, get creative in the kitchen with some Halloween-inspired bakes and treats. Something delicious like these Rice Krispie Pumpkins or Eyeball Cake Pops are quick and easy to create, and even better when enjoyed in the company of Netflix.

Brave A Haunted Sleepover

Admittedly this one is a bit more out there but this is sure to appeal to the thrill seekers! If it’s a ghost tour, visit or even a sleepover that you’re on the hunt for, check out https://www.hauntedrooms.co.uk/ to find the spookiest staycation this year. It’s not for the faint-hearted, but is guaranteed to make your Halloween a memorable one.

Go “OUT OUT”

Head over to one of the ‘Alcotraz’ venues located in London, Brighton, Liverpool or Manchester for a night of legitimate illegitimate fun. Don an orange jumpsuit and try to smuggle your drinks past the wardens to serve your sentence inside… namely enjoying bespoke cocktails in your prison cell!  It’s the perfect level of eerie entertainment for the spooky season.
