Katie Bailiff is the CEO of Women in Film and Television and a producer with some big name series under her belt. She started her career as a documentary researcher and eventually founded her own independent production studio, Century Films, focused on creating documentaries and factual-based dramas.

Katie fell in love with the film world around the age of 14. Her father, a boat builder, loaned a boat to a local production crew for a film they were shooting nearby. Katie tagged along and spent the next day and a half on the set, loving every moment!
In today’s episode, she chats about what Women in Film and Television really does, what membership and mentorship entails, the advice she’d give to women starting in the industry, and how to identify a key story.
