This is a great time for growth, we just have to build a bit of courage and break through the barriers. This has been an incredibly hard time for us all. We’ve all had different coping mechanisms to deal with this (some much better than others but either way, we’re in it together) but with that being said, we’ve got through the worst of it. We can continue to move forward.  [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

During this pandemic, it is important that we are not losing ourselves in the midst of the madness. We need to use this as an opportunity to put our best foot forward so that when we start the ‘new normal’, we’re ready to hit the ground and start running at a steady pace

It is imperative to your future self that you stick to a routine. If you have lost yours, then slowly try and build it back up. Having a dramatic change can have a negative impact on your mentality and can be physically exhausting. Make sure you’re setting your alarm as usual, schedule eating times, get changed and do things as you usually would. It’s impossible to make judgements on the next steps but having a routine in place will make it easier to adapt to the next stage.

Stay healthy by eating regular nutritious meals, working out however works for you and making most of your time outside. Long walks are extremely effective for our fitness levels and mental health, so ensure that you are getting some fresh air and Vitamin D in order to avoid exhaustion and a major slump each day.

Reflect and re-evaluate on what you really want for your future. We’ve had a considerable amount of time to gather our thoughts recently. It’s probably not the first thing you’d think to dobut considering we’re heading back to a ‘new normal’ we might as well take advantage of the opportunities that will arise.

Be generous to yourself, rest when you need to and do all of the things that make you happy. It’s time that we are putting ourselves first and are focusing on our wellbeing during this uncertain time.

Don’t stop making plans and aiming for your goals. It seems impossible right now, but it’s not! There are still plenty of opportunities for you to achieve your goals, but always ensure that you are putting yourself and your future first. It won’t be long until this is in the past and our lives will have returned to normal.

We can either choose to view this as a negative experience, or we can say ‘the Covid-19 pandemic is where I put myself first and started to make life happen’.

Don’t put yourself on hold.
