Some of us may need some extra pampering and self-care to get through the next few months and with everything that’s going on in the world we all deserve a little treat, so here are five ways to pamper yourself at home.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Have a hot bath with a bath bomb
There’s nothing I love more than coming home from the cold and jumping into a hot bath especially if it includes a bath bomb. When I’m in the mood for a serious pamper session, I always go for one of my Lush bath bombs. One of my favourites is called Twilight, which fizzes across the bath leaving the water a midnight blue and pink while smelling of lavender for a calm mind and soothed body. After the bath, I feel perfectly relaxed and ready for more pampering.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Dip into your luxurious body care
Almost everyone has that stash of luxury products that you keep for special occasions and when you want a real treat. I like to save a few products for when I want to have a pamper night at home. Some of these products include my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Body cleanser because it is the most luxurious product and leaves my skin feeling silky soft as it gently exfoliates and cleanses the body. Whenever I use this product, I know I’m in for a relaxing evening.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Do your skincare routine
One of my favourite things to do is to actually take all of my makeup off after a long day and fully clean my skin, I always find that it makes me feel refreshed. Doing your skincare routine can actually be pretty relaxing and it is time to take for yourself to wash away the day and get your skin ready for a face mask. Whenever I’m wanting to relax when doing my skincare routine, I like to add a few extra steps so I’m getting the full package treatment like adding a face mask, under-eye patches and change up my cleansing routine to a more luxurious product.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Get Reading
Another way that I really like to relax and practice a bit of self-care is to curl up with a good book. Whenever I’m reading and I really get into a book anything could be happening and I wouldn’t even notice. I find reading a way to escape and go into a new world. A book I have been reading recently is The Hunger Games Trilogy, I have watched all the movies before but never sat and read the books and now that I have I don’t know how I didn’t do this from the start, they are so good.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Binge-Watch on Netflix
Since lockdown ended, I haven’t watched as much Netflix as I would like because I’m back at work, but I like to dedicate a few hours of my pamper evening to binge-watching a few hours of my favourite shows while curled up on the sofa with some snacks. Netflix has so many great shows and too many to choose from sometimes. Some of my favourite shows are Gilmore Girls, which I have to watch every October as a tradition, and Brooklyn 99 which is a feel-good comedy that I recommend anyone try.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Having pamper evenings is one of my favourite ways to practice self-care and recharge myself for the next day. I hope this gives you some inspiration on how to have your own autumn pamper night at home.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
