Skin-like foundations
When it comes to foundations, I love my skin to look like skin and feel like it too, especially as we ease into Spring/Summer. I’ll be giving you the lowdown on three skin-like foundations I can’t get enough of.
Nars are known for their skin-like foundations, with holy grails like Sheer Glow and All Day Weightless Luminous Foundation, you know you’ll be in good hands. The ‘Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation’ was released back in 2019 and whilst new products are often hyped up due to advertising and PR, this one didn’t disappoint.
It sits on the skin beautifully, blends like a dream and gives you that dewy glow so you can forgo the highlighter for a day. Best of all, it last 16 hours and will see you through; from the office to your 7pm HIIT session, all without transferring.

Urban Decay are famed for their cult Naked eyeshadow palettes and in tune with this theme, they released the Stay Naked Weightless Liquid Foundation. It feels like you’re wearing absolutely nothing and is great for those who like the ‘no makeup-make up’ look. It has a vegan formula and promises to last up to 24 hours (perfect for those day to night outs). Best of all, it comes in fifty shades, so there will be a match or two for you.

Mac Face and Body is a cult fave by makeup artists on photoshoots and for brides on their special days. It feels lightweight on your face (and body) and buildable enough to cover tattoos and other blemishes. Best of all, it looks great on camera, so you’ll be uploading more selfies than you know it in no time. Try mixing it with your favourite illuminator or liquid highlighter for a dewy glow.
