I have tried a few products from Pixi over the years, my favourite (and one of my holy-grail products) being the BeautifEYE brightening eye patches. So of course, I jumped at the chance to try the new +rose range for SS21. The products are all infused with silky rose to smooth and brighten the complexion and are all cruelty-free. So, did the collection live up to my expectations? After trying the products for a month, here is my verdict:

Delicately tinted, Rose-infused complexion enhancer blurs and brightens to give skin a fresh finish. This radiance perfector is formulated to instantly enliven the face with a pearlescent finish for a healthy glow.
My verdict: This is definitely my favourite product from the +rose collection. It looks amazing worn underneath makeup for a glowing-from-within finish, or alternatively it can be used without makeup to add glow and brighten your complexion. You only need a small amount for a full face so at £14 I think this is great value for money. I will certainly be re-purchasing.

Tri-phase nourishing essence oil, infused with rejuvenating rose, nourishes, calms and hydrates. Instantly absorbed, this essence oil leaves skin dewy and revitalised, ensuring skin is perfectly prepped for makeup.
My verdict: Typically, I don’t use oil-based products on my face as I don’t like how it feels on my skin, however with this +rose essence oil I was pleasantly surprised. It definitely still makes my skin feel oily, but it soaks in quickly and I found that once I had applied my daily moisturiser my skin felt significantly more hydrated. I also noticed that my makeup blended a lot easier when I had used this oil beforehand.

Inspired by nature, this rose-infused lip balm smooths with a hint of tint and shine. Formulated to hydrate and nourish in an instant. Softens lips long-term with a “your lips but better” touch of sheer colour.
My verdict: I haven’t found this product to be particularly life-changing, however it does do everything it is supposed to do as my lips were left feeling nourished and hydrated. For me personally, I prefer clear, glossy lip balms whereas this lip nourisher has a sheer pinkish-red tint to it. But, for anyone who prefers their lip balms with a bit of colour, I would recommend you to try this!
