Love can also be in the form of taking care of our bodies and enjoying what we eat.
We all have fond memories shared over delicious food. Laughter and conversation that we’ve had with loved ones over drinks. The smell or taste of a meal transporting you back to a happy place or time in life. But for some, the idea of being around food or consuming it, becomes a daunting fight with their own self.
For those of you battling with eating disorders, you are valid. You are loved. You are cared about. And more importantly, you ARE allowed to enjoy that meal without the heavy feeling of guilt looming over you.
