How To Practice Self Care At Home

[eltd_dropcaps type=”normal” color=”” background_color=””]W[/eltd_dropcaps]ith us all spending more time at home than ever, I’ve got some great tips for practicing self-care in every room of your home. So if you’re not ready to get out and about just yet, here are the tips for you…

The Importance of Self Love

[eltd_dropcaps type=”normal” color=”” background_color=””]H[/eltd_dropcaps]ow many of us truly know the meaning of self-love or how to cultivate it into our lives? I am only just recognising in my 30s, how truly important self-love is.

I have only recently discovered my own need for this practice, realising that this is something that has been missing my whole life. It is such a beautiful thing once you realise and start to practice it; The difference it makes alone is something quite spectacular, but you first have to recognise its absence and learn from scratch how to introduce it into your everyday life.

What Exactly Is Lymphatic Drainage & Is It Worth The Hype?

[eltd_dropcaps type=”normal” color=”” background_color=””]I[/eltd_dropcaps]n case you missed it, lymphatic drainage is all the rave in the skincare world right now.

You know all those pretty pink face rollers and gua sha tools that you’re seeing all over your Instagram feed? Yep, they’re for lymphatic drainage and everyone from Eva Chen to your favourite influencer are singing its praises.

Mapping Your Mind & Visualising Your Life

[eltd_dropcaps type=”normal” color=”” background_color=””]”Y[/eltd_dropcaps]ou are more productive by doing fifteen minutes of visualization than from sixteen hours of hard labor.” Abraham Hicks

Are you in tune with your thoughts and feelings? Are you paying attention to your personal needs? Are you reflecting on how you spend your time each day/week?

Keeping track of all of the above is the essential part of self-love and that’s something we’re all doing more of in 2020. It’s a lot easier said than done but with a little bit of practice, we can get there one step at a time.

Why you shouldn’t always tell your ‘SO’ if you’ve cheated

[eltd_dropcaps type=”normal” color=”” background_color=””]Y[/eltd_dropcaps]ou’re going to need to trust me on this one.

Telling your significant other that you’ve cheated on them – whether that’s anything from a kiss to an all-out affair – unleashes a world of pain, trauma and confusion. The only silver lining (if you can even call it that) is that you will feel marginally better; Because you’ve lifted the guilt off your shoulders and placed a crushing weight on top of the person you supposedly love.

A Beginners Guide to Running

[eltd_dropcaps type=”normal” color=”” background_color=””]I[/eltd_dropcaps]n the current climate, I’ve found myself looking for a number of escapes – from bulk baking cookies (54 to be exact, in a household of two) to binge reading a book cover-to-cover in two days (440 pages, and I rarely read).

The scariest temptation was running and seeing a number of friends and fitness fanatics claiming it was the best way to a clear head, I really wanted to give it a try. Running for me is big thing – as a teenager I loved it, ran every day and was even a qualified coach. At the start of 2020 however, a solid 10 years on, you wouldn’t even catch me running up the stairs.

[eltd_dropcaps type=”normal” color=”” background_color=””]D[/eltd_dropcaps]uring this crazy, uncertain time it is normal to feel nervous to go back to the gym; but there are ways you and your gym can make sure you are safe and comfortable.

Getting Your Life Back on Track with 3 Simple Steps

[eltd_dropcaps type=”normal” color=”” background_color=””]F[/eltd_dropcaps]irstly, this is just a reminder that sometimes you have to step back and take a moment to recollect everything that’s going on. Stop trying to force thoughts, feelings and actions that are not within your mental or physical capacity at that moment.

Yes, we can often fall from the face of the earth at times and get caught up with life, and that’s OK. It’s important to embrace the journey you’re on and if that means you’ve fallen off track, then so be it! What does that really even mean? You’re just not living in alignment with your desires and values right now, but it doesn’t mean you’ve completely lost yourself.
