With so many cuisines to try, we now have a plethora of options which can tickle our tastebuds…
Over lockdown, we have all missed the luxury of letting our hair down and attending bars and restaurants with our friends and family, giving us the night off from the kitchen. Socialising over food and drinks is something we took advantage of before lockdown, which we have all really missed out on. I am personally a major foodie and love trying out new bars and restaurants in different cities around the UK. With so many cuisines to try, we now have a plethora of options which can tickle our tastebuds.
Check out some of my favourite restaurants below:
The name says it all, this is one sexy restaurant. Situated in Mayfair in London, this amazing restaurant serves Asian and Japanese-inspired sushi, seafood, fish and meat. With vibrant music booming through the water dripping walls, this is a sensory overloaded experience. Although on the more expensive side, there are multiple “dish deals” which can still allow you to have some lovely food and drinks, without breaking the bank. Additionally, with a stunning décor, this really is the place to capture a fab Instagram picture in your latest statement summer outfit.
This rooftop bar and restaurant overlooks the city of Leeds and is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat and a boujee cocktail. With panoramic city views, this really is an easily accessible restaurant, which serves food for all tastes. I attended the University of Leeds and this was a restaurant we used to save for special occasions, to get glam and enjoy ourselves. The rooftop is perfect for day and night, with heaters and blankets available at your convenience, which is definitely needed in this typical English weather. Additionally, be sure to try the truffle fries and check out the DJ, which brings the best party atmosphere on the weekends.
Originally born in the beautiful Cheshire village of Hale, Victors is a stunning bar and restaurant covered in beautiful lilac flowers. This restaurant serves meals from brunch to dinner, making it a spot for every occasion. Their Afternoon Tea and Bottomless Brunch packages also make for a brilliant day out, meaning you and your friends can really have a day to remember…or not! Due to its success Victors now has further restaurants in Alderley Edge in Cheshire and Oxford.
Taking advantage of restaurants and bars being open again allows us to celebrate with our close ones and make up for lost time. Not only does spending time with my friends and family make me super happy, but finding new spots for food and drinks is one of my favourite things to do.
All these restaurants have a brilliant atmosphere and everyone seems to really enjoy the experience, which after the year we have had, is very necessary.
Pass me another cocktail and the menu please!
