Are you ready to up your post-lockdown look? Have you considered LVL lashes? Here’s the low down…
LVL lashes are the beauty hack you never knew you needed. An LVL lash treatment works by curling the lashes at the root at the same time as separating them out, finishing off with a tint of your choice. I always go for blue black. It’s an ideal way to ditch your mascara and wave goodbye to your eyelash curlers for a couple of months. Hurrah! I get the treatment done before each holiday as it means I can roll out of bed and pace straight to the pool, no make-up needed.
Just lay back for an hour or so through the separate stages, whilst either chatting away to your therapist or listening to some calming music. The process feels a little strange at first as it takes some time to get used to your eyes feeling glued shut. I find it neither pleasant nor unpleasant so it doesn’t bother me too much.
Afterwards you’ll need to avoid wearing make-up and getting your lashes wet for 24 hours, but after that you’re good to go. Just avoid oil based cleansers and skincare products. I’d recommend investing in a lash conditioning serum too as it will ensure they’re kept feeling soft.
The cost of an LVL lash lift from a reputable salon can range between £40-50 and will always require a patch test at least 24 hours in advance.
