As the wintery weather draws to a close, we all want to look fresh-faced heading into Spring. You can bring that youthful look to life by following some simple steps with five easy make-up products. A natural make-up look is one that everyone can create, quickly and easily with only a few products. Be sure to read the full article below to see my hero products and how I use them.
The first step to a natural spring make-up look, is good skincare products. As well as cleansing and moisturising regularly, I have recently found a new product – The Rodial Brightening and Cleansing Vitamin C pads. These pads are super easy to use and actually work! They give the skin a shot of glow serum, meaning the skin is transformed and brightened. They specifically target the texture of skin by reducing pores and toning skin, to give a more even look. This is exactly what we need in spring, after months spent battling the elements throughout winter.

A good illuminator is key for a more natural finish to your make-up. This I find is different to primer as it gives a great boost to the skin, making you look as healthy as possible. One of my personal favourites is Mac’s Strobe Cream. This comes in a range of shades and really gives that added extra sparkle to the skin. Using it on the high points of your face will mean the sunlight really catches those necessary areas, giving a youthful glow.

Concealer…this is always needed, especially in problem areas. NARS Creamy Concealer is an Instagrammer’s safe haven, due to its moisturising texture, allowing for even the largest of blemishes to be covered with confidence. With a wide range of shades, this really can be worn by anyone. Just a little bit goes a very long way, meaning that price per use is brilliant.

A cream blusher is absolutely necessary to ensure you are always looking like you have had 9+ hours of sleep a night. Bobbi Brown cream blush comes in a variety of tones and can be used as a lip and cheek tint, meaning this is a multi-purpose product. A secret tip is to brush over any excess on your eyelids, bringing your whole look together for a unified and easy approach to make-up.

Chanel’s Soleil Tan Bronzer is a product I have been using for years. It is so easy to use and lasts a lifetime. In a similar fashion to the blusher, this can be used as a contour bonzer or eyeshadow and a great way to bronze the neck/chest. This means you consistently look like you have been given that sun-induced glow, to start spring in the very best way.
