Call Your Girlfriend
Despite announcing in December that the podcast is coming to an end, Call Your Girlfriend made its hit debut in 2014 and so you’re guaranteed to not run out of the archives any time soon. Built around the friendship of the two hosts Aminatou Sow and Ann Friedman, the podcast is “perfect for long-distance besties everywhere”. From afar, it can be described as a podcast of just two women chatting, however it goes much deeper than that. From in depth interviews with inspirational guests to discussions on feminism, politics and pop culture, this podcast has become a cultural phenomenon that you need to listen to.
Grounded with Louis Theroux
If you love Louis Theroux as much as I do than this is definitely for you. Starting the podcast at the beginning of the first lockdown when Theroux was restricted from continuing with his documentary projects, ‘Grounded with Louis Theroux’ features compelling interviews with a fascinating mix of guests. From KSIto Boy George, Theroux uses his years of interviewing experience to really get into the nitty-gritty, covering the good, the bad, and the ugly topics that make the interviews so captivating.
