My Summer Bucket List
This year is going to be the year! I can feel it. We’re all itching for that perfect Instagramable summer getaway after missing out for a few years prior.
Dreaming of vibrant cities only a plane ride away, renting out a cottage in the UK countryside…what exciting things do you have planned for Summer 2022?
Jetting Off...
In late 2021, me and my girls visited Glasgow, London and the Lake District. We took every opportunity we could with our busy schedules to go on exciting trips despite none of us being in the same city anymore. This year, what shall we do? All we know is that we want to spend a whole day at a spa and visit somewhere new. There’s talks of jetting off to Morocco in July…Do you have any holiday plans already in motion?
Poland Trip
Years ago, I made the promise that I would go with my friend back to her hometown in Poland. She’s been excited to show me a slice of the city she calls home after seeing my own, but I’ve never renewed my passport in time and keep putting it off. I’ve not been on a plane in years so it’s a bit nerve wracking. Fingers crossed that 2022 is the year!
Strawberry Picking
Probably the most chilled out plan I’ve got so far but I know there will be more through the Summer. Why get your summer strawberries from the store when you can support your local farm and pick out your own? Strawberry picking would make such a cute double date too…
Back To The Beach
This is definitely more of a personal trip than just a simple beach trip. I used to live by the seaside until I turned five. I’ve not been back for a few years now – it’s about time I went back for a visit. But who doesn’t love a good trip to the beach?
Road Trip! Road Trip! Road Trip!
When I went to Glasgow, my friends and I said if we are going to do this again that we would need to make it a road trip. Driving up and down the country, making sure we can see everything we want to see before rushing back home. Three of us can drive after all so why not?
Personally, my summer bucket list is full of ways to spend as much time with the people I love. After the last few years we’ve had, spending time with friends & family has become even more important.
