I am no gym bunny…however I do like to try the latest gym apps and classes that are on the scene.
Scrolling down Tik Tok there are so many options out there ranging from Reformer Pilates to the latest HIIT class. Read below to find out how to organise your “hot girl” week of gym classes, which make you feel the best version of yourself.
1 Rebel name themselves as “The King of Gyms.” With super cool industrial interiors this gym offers a range of classes which can really cater to all needs. If you need spinning, boxing, pilates or HIIT classes, this really can spur you on to perform your very best.
My personal favourite class is the Reshape Full Body & Abs, which is available at most 1 Rebel studios. Combining treadmill sprints and weights, this class really does push you to your max. Allowing you to gage your own speed it also does allow you to go at a pace which suits you. I have never been an avid runner, but this is a great class to help build your endurance and fitness in this area.
I personally love and hate this class all at the same time! Additionally, the facilities are also great at this gym, with showers, cold towels, make-up remover, hair dryers and straighteners, you can leave this gym looking better than when you came in. Meaning you can squeeze in a class before, during or after work.
I started doing the Courtney Black App during lockdown. I love supporting Courtney’s business which started by her doing small live Instagram workouts during lockdown. Now her app is used by thousands and her Instagram has nearly 900k followers.
She is energetic and loveable and brings the party to every workout. This app brings the ease to exercise, meaning with a couple of dumbbells I can work up a sweat in my own living room. She now employs multiple trainers who also create classes on her app, focusing on weights, yoga, pre & post-natal, who all allow her to bring her CB Team to you.
Additionally, she also offers some great and diverse recipe’s which are usually high protein and low calorie, helping to give us some inspiration in the kitchen. Her app also has multiple different areas including a Progress Area where you use dashboards to track and update your progress in all areas of your health, including sleep, hydration, mood and a step tracker. At only £15.99 a month this is a really great way to work out when it suits you.
Class Pass is the new phenomenon. Allowing a range of different classes to keep you feeling fresh and never bored of the same gym. Want to try something new this week…then this is the app for you! Sending a link to your friends also allows them to get a free trial, meaning you can easily bring a supportive mate to help you workout.
Additionally, it is super easy to add on extra credits every month, meaning you can tailor your monthly plan to how you feel. More popular classes usually cost more “credits”, however this app has allowed me to find classes that I would never usually do.
I really love the diversity that all these classes give me. Most importantly they help with my mental health, ensuring I feel my best at work, socialising with my friends and relaxing with my family. Choose an exercise class which you genuinely enjoy, and it won’t always feel like such a chore trying to do it!
