These changes become part of our routine; we accept them. But have you thought about your face and body as well? As the days begin to shorten and the wind gets its sharp chill, skin will begin to crack and peel if not moisturised thoroughly and regularly. This means that your skincare products will need to be changed. If you suffer from dry skin in the winter, your lightweight face cream won’t do much for you now…

Here are my favourite tips for keeping skin soft and supple in the colder months:

1.

Firstly, switch your foaming cleanser to a hydrating cleanser – your skin will thank you for it!

2.

Change your silky eye serum to a hydrating eye cream.

3.

Use a hyaluronic acid serum in addition to your treatment one and then ensure you follow with a facial oil.

4.

Indulge in a moisturiser that is hydrating and thick but not heavy on the skin.

5.

Suncream is vital in the colder months, the harsh winter sun is as damaging in the winter as it is in the summer.
